New England Sugar Pie
The original small sugar pumpkin of New England, USA was first described by Fearing Burr in The Field and Garden Vegetables of America (1863). Trailing plants produce orange, almost oval fruits with light ribbing and a tough, smooth skin. These fruits weigh in at around 2kg and have smooth, sweet flesh.
Please note: this variety needs a little bit more of a helping hand, so we are not able to send out seeds with gifts, however by adopting it you will be directly contributing to its conservation, so that one day we will be able to make it available to everyone.
